πŸ’‘ Editor Lead the editorial process by curating and refining content for newsletters and key communications. Ensure messaging is clear, compelling, and aligned with Better Streets' mission.

✍️ Content Writers Research and craft engaging articles, advocacy pieces, and success stories to inform and inspire action. Collaborate with the team to produce high-quality content.

πŸ“° Reporters Cover local and national transport issues, interview key stakeholders, and report on Better Streets initiatives. Help keep our audience informed with timely and impactful updates.

🌐 Website Manager Maintain and update the Better Streets website, ensuring timely publication of content, event listings, and campaign updates. Some technical experience is helpful.

πŸ“Έ Photographer Capture high-quality images at events and key moments to visually tell the Better Streets story. Great for someone passionate about photography and urban change.

🎨 Creative Assets Manager Oversee design assets, branding materials, and visuals for campaigns. Ensure consistency across communications and support the team with engaging graphics and visuals.

🎀 Media Contact Engage with journalists, draft press releases, and coordinate media opportunities to amplify Better Streets' message. Ideal for someone with PR or media relations experience.

Open Volunteer Role: Better Streets Industry Events Liaison

The primary objective of the Better Streets Australia Industry Events Liaison is to increase the number of events where Better Streets Board members and volunteers speak. This role will help enhance Better Streets' brand awareness, recruit new coalition members, and upskill industry members through workshops and presentations at various industry events across Australia. Open Volunteer Role: Better Streets Policy Submission Coordinator

The primary objective of the Better Streets Australia Policy Submission Coordinator is to increase the number of submissions on key state and national policy documents by Better Streets coalition members. This role will help enhance Better Streets' brand awareness and provide constructive advocacy to government. A full description of the role and its responsibilities can be found here.


Open Volunteer Role: Better Streets Email Advocacy Platform Manager. 

The primary objective of the Email Advocacy Platform Manager is to establish and manage a Do Gooder campaign platform. This platform will enable Better Streets coalition members to email the Better Streets Recommendations to their elected and candidate representatives. The platform will also be configured to target specific local, state, and federal election campaigns, with a focus on the Western Australia and national federal Australian elections expected in March 2025 and mid-2025, respectively.
