We are going big, bold and, yes, green.

Volunteers at the website hackathon day.

You may have noticed our website has had a major overhaul. If you haven't, head over to the website now!

A year ago, we decided Better Streets could have a bigger impact and stand out if we had a distinct, recognisable look. We went for a bold new look that’s hard to ignore and forget. We want our decision makers and our community to be able to easily identify Better Streets and trust that we are about big change.

Streets are for all, and this work concerns us all.  We’re here to empower the hundreds and thousands of individuals, groups, organisations, communities and governments working to make significant, essential and systemic change.

We continue to be a volunteer run, not-for-profit organisation with a national reach. Our supporters and volunteers make Better Streets a rich hub of people for sharing knowledge, connecting with and collaborating with.

Thank you to the volunteer team who made the website refresh project happen. This project has been a year in the making. We had skilled volunteers contributing their experience in graphics, user experience, policy, resource development, project management, writing, editing, technical and some learnt new skills in the process.

If you would like to share any feedback about the website's look and feel, issues and opportunities, please let me know at jjung@betterstreets.org.au (Better Streets Treasurer).
